This one should bring all the braggers out. So what spec PC do you all have? I'm just curious as to what the average is at the moment.

Seen as I am starting it I suppose I should go first:

    Dual 550 Celerons
    256MB PC100
    IBM 7.2k rpm 13.5GB 2MB Cache UDMA66 Hard Disk
    Fujitsu 5.4k rpm 13.5GB 512K Cache UDMA66 Hard Disk
    17" Belinea Diamondtron Monitor
    32MB TNT2 Ultra
    SB Live Platinum Sound Card
    6X Pioneer Region Free DVD
    4x4x24x Ricoh SCSI CD-RW
    ATAPI Zip
Plus a few other bits and bobs.

PCs that I own... (The family PC is a PII-400)

My main one which I built has been running fine since late 1997...
    Dual Pentium Xeon 400 (clocked)
    GigaByte m/b
    128MB RAM (PC100)
    15" Monitor
Diamond Max 11.2Gb Hdd (Ultra DMA)
    IBM 3.2Gb Hdd (IDE )
    128k ISDN modem
    Yamaha 4x4x24 cd writer (ide)
At the moment only a 8mb Video 7 graphics card..
I run Win98, Me and 2kpro, Corel Linux but thinking about mandrake as someone just lent me the cd...
When the fast processors come down in price I may completely revamp my PC (money permitting)...

    also
Toshiba Satellite 110CS (pentium 100, 24mbram, no cd drive)

Compaq P100, 16Mbram, 810Mbhdd, 14ins monitor... networked to my main PC via tashika (i think it's the 'own' band of jungle.com, which is situated about a mile away from me)... I use it mainly for multiplayer GTA

I don't really like bragging about my computer. Here's why...

    120MHz Pentium
    80MB Ram
    6.7GB HD
    Crappy Sound Card
    Crappy Video Card
    Crappy Speakers
17" Sony Trinitron Multiscan E200 (Sweet!)
    6x CD-Rom
    Floppy
    Broken Case

Don't worry, I plan on upgrading to a $1500 computer by Christmas...

I think you're the only bragger here... ( no kidding) I will reply only few of my comp specs, mostly because I don't know what is inside my comp except from the CPU, the HD and RAM. But I know too that everything works perfectly...

I am not worrying... about that anyway, but I'd guess that your domain is possibly worth more than any of our comps even though it's a .cx (i am not too good at appraisal)

    AMD K6-3 400
    192 megs RAM
30.6 gig WD hard drive (win2k)
6.4 gig Maxtor hard drive (linux)
    19" sony monitor
    32 Meg GeForce graphic card.
    24x CD ROM
    8x4x32x HP 9100i CDRW
    Cannon USB Scanner (620u)
2 ethernet cards (one for internet network, one for DSL)

Plus I have an old school Macintosh clone (Power Computing Power Tower Pro 200). Nice but a little extreme: space for 10 hard drive and 4 raid drives, 12 RAM slots (for a total on 1 gig... this is old), dual SCSI busses, etc.

At work of course, I use supercomputers and large clusters... I have 2 desktop machines. One is a Celeron 500 and the other is a dual 450. The supercomputer has 100+ gigs of RAM and 1.2 TB disk array and 128 processors.

    It's all good.

    24x CD-ROM
    Voodoo 3 3000
    Sound Blaster Live
    15" Monitor
    MS Intelli Mouse Explorer
OS: Win 98 (When I upgrade my hard drive I am going to run Win2k, Win98 and Mandrake Linux together on a dual boot)

    I built this.

15 inch LCD flat panel monitor (aka my baby)

    212 mb ram
    450mhz pIII
    30 gb hard drive
    8 gb hard drive
    50somethingX Cd-rom
    2x2x16 CD-RW
    32mb Diamond Stealth
    Sound Blaster Live
    MS Laser Mouse

Thats about it. I need to build a new one, get a better graphics card and a faster processor, this one is 2 and a half years old now.

Whats funny is I got enough spare computer parts lying around to almost build another system.

I don't know much about mine...but it's not very good. It's about a year and a half old...

I have a brand new IBM T20 laptop. Its the one with the funny commercial on TV where the lawyer corrects the young IBM techie for calling the T20 "bad."

It really is great. It has all the options. Mine came with:
    • 700 Mhz Intel Pentium III
    • 256 MB memory
    • 11.5 GB hard disk
    • 14.1" display
    • DVD
    • CD/RW
