Pros and Cons: Crossover for Browser Testing

Dealfuel has a deal today (http://dealfuel.com/?ptype=buydeal&did=4828) that includes the Crossover app for Mac. The product description:

CrossOver allows you to install many popular Windows applications and PC games on your Mac. It's easy, affordable, and best of all, there's no Windows license required. Your Windows applications and games integrate seamlessly on your computer; just click and run.
IE6-9 are supported applications. Just wondering if any of you use Crossover for browser testing, and if so, what are the pros and cons compared to using a Virtual Machine like Parallels Desktop? Thanks!

Hm, hadn't heard of Crossover before. From what I can tell from their site, IE8 and 9 are classed as "known not to work". Hm, I think I'll stick with VMWare for now.
