    SELECT style

    How can i change the color of an SELECT element?

    borders, scrollbars, background etc.

    In your CSS document/template or whatever, add this:

    select { border: #000000 1px solid; background-color: #FFCC00; }

    This will give a 1px black border, and an orange background colour... have a play around

    Not sure about changing scrollbars though.

    The only thing you can change with regard to <select> tags is background, font color and font type/style. Scrollbars don't change color, and the border doesn't work either when it comes to <SELECT>s. It's like trying to change the "Browse..." button on a file input, it just won't happen yet. Sorry to burst your bubbles guys, but I've been through this many times.

    Yes, Vinnie is correct; it's the old windowed controls problem (can't change border, z-index etc)
