    Flash and Bandwidth

    Lets say I have a few games that are 1MB in size in flash, when one user plays this game is this 1MB of bandwidth used??

    Thanks for any help

    I am not 100% sure but I doubt this is how bandwidth is calculated, I think it much rather depends on the amount of data that your games are transfered from the server to the user's computer... then again I might be wrong

    If your SWF file is 1mb in size and a user visits the site who does not have the file in their browser cache and allows the game to fully load then yes it will be 1mb of bandwidth used

    OK, here is a newbie question. Once the file is loaded, is anymore bandwidth used? Even if the user stays on that page and views the file for an hour.
