Best E-commerce Solution for Food delivery Business?

I'm planning to start a food delivery business and therefore need to set up a e-commerce website. I'm confused in choosing the right platform, would it be better if i go with Magento or should i go with Joomla? I would prefer fewer checkout steps in order to get the best possible customer conversions. Any suggestions?

It doesn't matter which ecommerce solution you use, you'll ALWAYS need to know a fair amount of code in order to customise the shopping cart for your site.
, you might want to consider integrating Paypal into the site - that's probably the simplest way of doing it but you'll still need to recode bits of it

I'm not sure what this particular piece of software has to do with food delivery which is what the OP asked about. As zipprosys mentioned, you'll likely need to do some customizing regardless of the solution you choose. That being the case, I would highly recommend you start with a system that is specific to food delivery. A simple Google search turned up this solution: http://gustocommerce.com

    Good luck.

I have a e-commerce website and I have used Magento. It has many modules and you can either download it form google if you want to include more features to your site. And it has good in-built features too.

I think Magento or Opencart good for your case.
