As I understand it, the OP is asking for video tutorials, which w3schools does not provide.

YouTube and Vimeo have a lot of stuff. Google "CSS youtube" for example. The problem with free stuff is it's a bit random what you find and you don't know how good it is.

There are lots of slideshow scripts out there that can be used with WP. If you Google something like WordPress Slideshow" or similar, you will find lots. They require JavaScript, though. Usually you get instructions for how to set them up.

There are lots of other kinds of slideshows, so if you wish, describe in a bet more detail how you want it to work.
I think learning html is better to learn on books or websites. Just because you have to practice and read a lot, which in videos you don't have all detailed thing about the language.
The www.w3schools.com/ is the native, where you find all things, <snip>, etc.
