    Inspiration for Event Website

    Hi

I am looking to create a one page simple event website.
I was wondering if anyone knew of any nice designed sites
that are for events or tickets to get inspiration from.

    Or perhaps a template website.

    Thanks,
    Chris

There's usually a lot of stuff available online. I just Googled "event website template" and got lots of results, like this:

Evenbrite is a popular event registration site. Maybe have a look at some of their pages. Here's a list of current events where I live:

I wonder if this is the sort of thing you are looking for:

    http://www.cycling-edinburgh.org.uk/

It's a site I created some years ago. It has a sliding list of events, which are automatically updated every day (so that it always shows the events for the next n days). The events are held in a MySQL database of events - quite a simple one - plus there's some hand-coded PHP to handle the logic.

Although it's not based on an off-the-shelf script, it was very easy to set up. I'd be happy to give you more details if it's relevant to your needs.

    Thanks for the replies.

Eventbrite seems to be very good actually.

Also, onepagelove.com is good for inspiration.

    Thanks guys
