    Wink I dont want my stlesheet to show for Netscape 4 Users...How?

    Hi

    I have designed my site using CSS, and i know it does not show up in Netscape 4.

    It shows up fine (just text) in netscape 4 when i take the reference to sthe stylesheet out.

    What i want is when a netscape 4 user lands on the homepage it takes them to the site without the stylesheet.

    any ideas?

    thanks in advance

    Indeed, it's quite easy actually:

    Code:
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="old.css" />
    This link will be read most browsers, include in it all your non-advanced formatting which NS can recognise (like text styling etc - you can even get away with pseudo-classes for <a>'s, as it picks up the colour, but not the actions.

    Code:
    <style type="text/css"><!-- @import url(new.css); --> </style>
    NS 4* will look at this, ponder, cry a little then move on. You can put your fancy-smancy .css in this file and have it read by "modern" browsers, and safely ignored by older ones
