    Hi,

    You can probably just use the sub element as it is but if you want to set some consistent defaults then perhaps something like this:

    Code:
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd">
    <html>
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
    <title>Untitled Document</title>
    <style type="text/css">
    sub {
    	font-size:80%;
    	line-height: normal;
    	vertical-align: sub;
    }
    </style>
    </head>

    <body>
    <p>This text contains subscript text.</p>
    </body>
    </html>
