    Nesting CSS as in nesting tables

    Hi,

    I'm trying to get some CSS formatted fields to be displayed in another CSS formatted field. The content fields are being displayed below the containing field.
    See this...

    The CSS is here.The CSS is here.

    Can this be done this way?

    I'd like to be able to include the content in a fixed size, scrollable area.

    Do I have to use frames?

    You had the following:

    Code:
    <div align=center>
       <p class=container>
    Try removing the <p class=container> tag and using <div align=center class=container>.

    Is that the effect you're looking for?

    You can't put block-level elements (like <h3>) inside a paragraph (<p>). Therefore, since the closing tag on a <p> is optional, the <h3> a line or two later is being interpreted as the end of the <p class=container>. Everything that follows is then placed after the container rather than in it.

    As Cokeman says, this should be fixed by putting the class=container on the <div>, rather than on a <p>.

    Also, all the attributes should be quoted, like this: class="container".
