Evrsoft - First Page 2000

I recently had to format my hard drive and learned (again ) an important lesson in backing up my files.

Does anyone have a copy of FirstPage 2000 that they can post for download? Apparently, Evrsoft is no longer making it available for download. I signed up for the next version, but who knows how long it will take.

I believe they still have it available for download at http://evrsoft.com/download. However, they don't link to it from the main page anymore. Hope this helps. =)

I think they're doing this because they were getting sued by another company producing a product called 1st Page? So now they have to change the name, etc... I think that's right...

It was actually called 1st Page 2000, which would equal 1P2K or 1P2000 or 1stP2K or 1stP2000. Interesting, eh :-) Anyway, it looks like the new version will be called Evrsoft Web Developer Studio. Either that or Evrsoft Evrsite...

I'd call Dreamweaver, Homesite, HoTMeTaL, et al original names.

But I can't say that 1st Page 2000 was original, and I'll bet they sorta followed MS to name their product. When referring to Web pages, "first" and "front" mean the exact same thing.

Both editors are "* Page 2000" ....

Yeah, you can't call MS creative either: just look at the names Office, Windows... They're just too logical.

Linux on the other side is a more creative name with same pieces and bits of history in it.

Why is Windows called windows? Because the applications run in windows... You're still awake?
