Hi.
We are in the processing of purchasing SSL certificates.
I notice that prices vary a lot. Of course we would like to purchase as cheap as possible.
Or are there any good reasons, to go for some of the more expensive alternatives?

We think that resellerclub is selling the SSL cheaper and reliable also.
Reliability is one of the criteria.
Good luck

What kind of SSL do you want to use? Single domain, wildcard? With EV or without EV? Any preferred brand (I am asking this cause most of our financial-industry customers prefer using Verisign, not Geotrust or Globalsign SSL)?

Most hosting providers have the purchase option for SSL. If you are using a reliable host then they typically offer the best option. Some providers even offer a free SSL at some level when you purchase a hosting plan. I would start there.
