I would like to know your views and experiences about a Pay-Per-Click search listing, something similar to GoTo. Is it worth the effort and money ? Or is there a better option available ?
In general, I have found that click-throughs cost 25 cents or less. Sometimes much less if you can find search terms to bid on that do not have high bids already.

Even I was considering GoTo as they seem to have more presence than any other pay-per-click programs through tie ups with other major search engines. But I could not find any of my search list items below $.50. Most of the good ones cost around $1.00
What do you think about ah-ha.com and kanoodle.com ?
Is there any tried and trusted way to get a listing on major search engines in a very short period ?
Pay per click search engines are a great source of getting targeted traffic to a site but they are getting more expensive with time as more and more people are bidding for the keywords, especially GoTo.
I've heard good things about RocketLinks.com but I have never used them.

We have great success with Goto. Our bids are $0,02 on average, we spend tons of hours to find popular keywords with small bids.
We also use Rocketlinks but we aren't happy at all as we can't spend our dollars even if we rank #1 for many keywords.
I believe that it is worth to bid on less popular keywords at Goto that to open an account in Rocketlinks.
