Record My Desktop Activity

I am looking for a software in Linux, that can record all the activities i made on my Desktop (i.e. i clicking something, opening some file etc.) so that i can save it as a file.

Well as a paid software Camtasia is perfect if you are trying to create a video to teach something, but not sure if they have linux support.

But Screenr is a web based software so you can run on any computer
