Background image - Part 2

Hi,

I have this class -

th.bubble
{
    color: white;
    background-image: url(images/thBubble.jpg);
} 

but what I'm looking for it how to stretch the image across the width of tha table cell. The images is 1007 pixels wide so it's not that the image is too small.

Any ideas??

If your image is 1007px across, how wide is your th? Cause that sounds plenty wide enough.

However, if the image isn't wide enough then, to the best of my knowledge, all you can do is choose whether to repeat the background image or not with background-repeat: and the choices are repeat-x, repeat-y, repeat or no-repeat.

th.bubble {
color: white;
background-image: url(images/thBubble.jpg);
background-repeat: repeat-x;
}

So in other words if you need your image to stretch further you're probably going to have to resize it in a PS (or whatever image editor you use).
