Anyone know the code that will work in Chrome, FF and IE for a one click way to copy all text within a certain box on the same website page please?

Zero Clipboard seems to be a useful way to achieve that.

Of course that relies on Flash and so will not work if your visitor has flash disabled or does not allow flash to use local storage.

Sadly no, due to browser security restrictions there has never been a standard developed for all browsers that works regardless of the users circumstance which sucks but that's how the web is these days, zero clipboard would be my recommendation as the percentage of users that actually don't have flash is VERY low because pretty much the entire web visits YouTube.
