Ideas for building Android Apps for Blog

I want to develop a Android apps for a site to read site's contents. Especially, for the blog updated regularly.

In this apps, which features should I included?

Eg features

• Notification when blog updated.
• Bookmark favorite blog post

Please, give me some ideas.

Why would the user need an App for a single blog for anyways? Whats wrong with using the browser or an RSS reader on their phone? What would make using your application more worth while to explorer your blog then the two mentioned? But eh, I guess it doesn't matter suppose its more of a learning experience...so my advice...put the features you want.

I suggest you look through the apps that interest you and jot down the features that are helpful.

Are you proficient in Javascript or Java? How do you expect to develop this app?
