Are keywords necessary for managed placements in Adwords?
I created a campaign in Adwords for the Display Network. For the ad group, I'm using image ads only (all sizes) AND specific URL's for managed placements.
Do I still need to add keywords for this ad group, or are the managed placements URL's sufficient?
If I do add keywords, will Google show my ads on sites other than the ones listed in the managed placements?
Its always useful to add keywords since you never know Google's algorithms. Even the Staff as Adwords might be unaware about some of the tactics Google uses. So I would suggest you to be on a safer part and add keywords.

I'm sure it won't but would still suggest you to add keywords since it does not take more than 10 minutes.
