    Help with Jquery Slider - Slides changing too quick

    Hi,

    I have a slider which I am working on integrating to my site. The slides however are changing so quick and I dont see any options in the Javascript file to make changes. Its all minified. I have read the documentation that came with it and it seems rather vague.

    Below is the code that is inside my head. What do I need to add, so that the slide will stay in place for a few seconds? It changes almost instantly at the moment.

    Code:
    		<script type='text/javascript'>

    		$.UnoSlider.defaults = {
     	    animation: {
    	    speed:1000,
    	    delay:50,
            transition: 'fade',
    	    variation:'left',
    	    pattern: 'chess'
    	  }

    	};

    		  $(document).ready(function() {
    				$('#unoslider').unoslider({
    					width: 960,
    					height: 300,
    				});

    		  });

            </script>
    Any help would be much appreciated.

    I'd try to increase the value of the 'delay' parameter.

    I did, this only changed the animation to go really slowly.

    Strange, I thought that would be the job of the 'speed' parameter. Did you try increasing that value as well?

    Edit: or maybe you have to decrease the 'speed' value...

    Very strange indeed!

    If I up the speed to 1000 and put the delay at 500 the animation is quite slow (still starts to change after the image loads in).

    If I put the speed at 500 and the delay at 2000 the animation almost stops half way through before finishing

    Didn't the slider come with some explanation? Or maybe on the site where you got it from?

    It did, but it says nothing about holding the slides for any time that I can see.

    It covers most things other things in reasonable detail.

    If further information is required and it's not provided in the documentation, I suggest that you contact the seller of the UnoSlider plugin. They are best positioned to assist you with your troubles.

    Cheers

    I had already sent an email but no reply as of yet. I'll have to sit tight until I hear I guess.

    If not I'll just go back to flex slider.

    Okay, so I went to the following site http://codecanyon.net/item/unoslider...preview/657866 and I saw this in their $.UnoSlider.defaults section that may be of use
    Code:
    slideshow: { hoverPause: true, continuous: true, timer: true, speed: 3, infinite: true, autostart: true },

    I managed to get it sorted:

    Code:

    <script type='text/javascript'>

    	   $.UnoSlider.defaults = {
     	    animation: {
    	    speed:1000,
    	    delay:200,
                transition: 'fade',
    	    variation:'left',
    	    pattern: 'chess'
    	  }

    	};

    		  $(document).ready(function() {

    				$('#unoslider').unoslider({
    					width: 960,
    					height: 300,

    					slideshow: { speed: 4  }

    				});

    		  });

            </script>
    Thanks all
