    1. Make the link in your signature clickable
    2. Write articles for webmaster sites
    3. Create an e-book of some sort
    4. Buy ad space on webmaster sites and in newsletters
    5. Buy inexpensive ads in the back of webmaster and computing magazines
    6. Create other sites that offer webmasters tools and resources and link back to your site
    7. Create free scripts and put them on Hotscripts and other sites. Include links back to your site.

You can generally find webmasters in places where you would go to look for hosting. A quick search on Yahoo! on website resources or website hosting directory/forums boards will lead you to a lot of heavily visited sites.

I am thinking of getting someone to write me an article. I will pay them $15 per customer they referred. I don't mind pay some 'init-fee' as well.

Anyone interested or anyone know where I can find those writters ?

It depends on your level of expertise and the level of expertise of your target Webmaster. Beginning webmasters might like a free e-book on tips and tricks for style sheets.

For the more advanced webmaster/programmer, there is a popular e-book out right now called “Thinking in Java”. If you had the expertise to write something like this, then I do think people would download and read it.

Also, I first found SitePoint, on Advantgo by subscribing to their daily tips feed and articles from my Palm handheld. E-books or material designed to be read on a Palm might attract some of your target audience. I would do a poll on your website to see if your audience would read e-books and then to see what kind of material they would want.

Apparently they told us that $250 will only last 2 days. We have ask them to make it a week and so far we only got 2 clicks......

If you do a search for "webmaster resources", after SitePoint.com, you'll see several sites that have some kind of directory that you can submit your site to. Go to those sites and find the best category and submit away Be prepared to have some section on your site for reciprocal linking. About 1/4 of them either require or "strongly recommend" linking back to them. That's always a good habit to get into anyway

I am not sure I can get many clients from those sites.

ALl those sites list freebies and people who go to those sites are not willing to pay anything for any service.

I am actually looking for some sort of 'ecommerce forum' to ad. on.

I am surprise there aren't many 'marketplace' forums for like Yahoo Store, amazon's zshops or other popular marketplace.

    Try these options

    Hi.
Well if you're familiar with marketing you'll know that webmasters like to read on the new things that are out there.

Try buying an e-mail list, but make sure it has the names of people. Usualy people tend to oppen e-mails when they see their name in the subject.
Also try ezine articles. Try google Ad words.
If you want to learn how to market see my site. Go here to download 3 free ebooks on marketing. They will help you

    Good luck.

I am going to try Sprink's content direct and newsletter direct ad.

I do not have confidence in ezines and CPM models.
