Layers, css, and that dreamweaver thing

Hi - how are you?

I am having one of those nightmares.

I am reading a book on css - and then trying to implement them within dreamweaver 4. I have come to the section on layer positioning - of which I am trying to float a layer to the right.

I can't t get this to work using dreamweaver in the dreamweaver view - but after hand coding it works in the browser.

I want to see my design in dreamwear though - any ideas

no solution, dreamweaver MX suffers from the same problem.. once you start getting into css intensive layouts dw pretty much falls apart in layout view.. unfortunatly.

i don't really know about programs such as dreamweaver as i hand code all of it...

well, maybe the old way is still the best way

It is a real shame - cos I am a visual designer - gues I'll just have to close my eyes and hope it works ;-)
