    Why won't this display in Netscape?

    Works in Opera, and IE but not in netscape and mozilla.

    PHP Code:
    <iframe src="http://www.live365.com/pls/front?handler=playlist&cmd=view&handle=cbridge"

    width="420"

    height="100"

    scrolling="no"

    frameborder="0">
    </
    iframe

    Looks like you have a proprietary tag there. From this page...

    Proprietary Tags
    Besides the infamous <BLINK> (supported by Netscape) and <MARQUEE> (supported by Internet Explorer) tags there are a few proprietary tags that are frequently used. Many Web developers use the Internet Explorer <IFRAME> tag to place a floating document inside of a page. These are commonly used for ad banners. Since Netscape does not support <IFRAME> it is possible to mimic an inline frame (without the scrolling sidebar) using Netscape's <ILAYER> tag with the SRC attribute. For example:

    <iframe src="foo.html" width="468" height="60"> <ilayer src="foo.html"> <p>alternative content for browsers who do not support IFRAME'S or ILAYERS </p> </ilayer> </iframe>

    Hope that helped,
    Palmer

    Nope still don't work. I believe I went down that road befor. This is really frustrating. I had the same problem with opera till I accepted the cookie from the third party site then it worked.

    Maybe it's the ActiveX thing. Good luck,

    So it was an ActiveX thing? Is that the reason why it won't work? That's a shame if it is.

    Oh I don't know the reason why it doesn't work. Everytime someone complains I do a little dead end research, give up and tell em to enjoy IE. Everyone using that script that I have asked has no idea why it doesn't work so I don't feel too bad.
