    Exclamation Remote Access

    How do i access a remote file?

    I want remoteg.cgi to access http://geocities.com (example) from the server, not the client. I downloaded a script that used a proxy server...WHAT PROXY SERVER! Exactly.

    Generally, this sort of thing can be handled with the LWP library.

    For example, the LWP::UserAgent module can make http connections and recieve web pages.

    I'm about to go to bed so that's all I'm going to write. Post back if you need help.

    If you have command line access:

    perl -MCPAN -e 'install Bundle::LWP'

    Should work
