    Question CSS overlapping and hyperlinks.

    Hello all

i'm new here, have answered one question as only came to visit for an answer to one question. I have asked this same question in four other forums with no answer yet so hopefully you guys can sort it-

I have used css to place html text under a flash page. I want to controll weather the hyperlinks work through the flash image.

Can I turn them on and off individualy or just for the whole page, how do I do it?

I don't really follow what you're trying to do. Can you provide a more concise explanation, maybe with some examples?

Not really sure what else to say.

I have a block of HTML text with hyperlinks, using z-order I have placed a Flash image over the top. Is their a way to control, weather these links work throgh the flash?

It really is irrelevant if it's Flash. If you place something over the top of something else, then the top object will be the one that "works". Is there a specific reason why you're putting Flash over these links? Is it a sort of browser test where if the user doesn't have Flash then at least they'll see the links?

Thats not the case see example below :-

not sure how to turn that smilly off!

I have several ideas for using this html and flash layering but I really need to controll the active links. The above example they work on another one they do not.

I see dinom, but the link doesn't work when the object is directly over one of the links, that's what I meant. Good example though.

You know I had not seen that!!

I presumed that just because the flash was transparent, that this would not make any difference.

So That solves my question about active links through Flash, only if it's transparent! Cheers All
