    Hi rtujha,

    When you post code please use code tags like [CODE]/*code goes here*/[/CODE] or [PHP]/*code oges here*/[/PHP], It make it easier to help troubleshoot.

    Can you describe what errors you get? Do you have error reporting set at the top of this script like:
    Code:
    ini_set('display_errors',1);
     error_reporting(E_ALL);
    If not then turn it on and see if you get any errors.

    Regards,
    Steve

    Hi ritu

    I would consider for basic login using HTTP authentication, you can see more about it here: http://www.sitepoint.com/http-authentication-php/

    Login or in other terms user authentication is a complex subject with many different possible solutions. HTTP authentications is like a gate, once you have a key to get into the gate you can do anything inside the bounds of a gate. This is not a permission based technology that assigns different rights to varying users, like, Admin, Manager, User, Anonymous. The idea about permission based authentication is much more complex.

    Regards,
    Steve
