I like itI was going to create something similar. Got an idea while watching Family Guy when Peter did the grind my gears bit, lol.

Hi,
Here's personal opinions.
- the thing that screems in logo, to ugly.
- many html errors, invalid html.
- should be better with friendly /rewrite url.

Love the site. Actually started reading stuff right away. I'm a good target audience though, being young and loving that stuff.
Anyway, I do think the footer could use a bit spicing up. Looks...too bland. Also, why do your menu items at the top, when hover, just make iet a bit taller? Looks strange. Take care of that.
I noticed throughout the random/top rants, they seemed to have a lot of the same. Perhaps something can be done with it?
Overall, good job.

Look at your source code. Your first element is <head>! Where's the doctype? <html>?

I think it is a good idea for new idea to communicate with others! It is also good designed! May you need to add some welcome text to let people know what kind of service you provide!
Keep it up and good luck!

Its funny but users should be allowed to comment without having a facebook. I dont have facebook cuz imo it blows and i would like to comment but cant.
Sent from my DROID BIONIC
I visited it from my mobile using opera mini.It looks simple and good. . loads faster than many sites I visit from opera mini. The only flaw I found was that search didnt work I tried two different words but got the same page instead of rants that contain my search words
I like the concept but I think that you should create categories. That way it makes it easier find what you are looking for or where you would like to place a rant. Just a suggestion. I have to agree with one of the reviewers above about the screaming ball thing it is a little on the ugly side. Overall I like it.
I really like the simple layout of this site. While news portals and those sites that are jam packed with rss feeds, news tickers and social media widgets
also have there place on the net, its nice when a site does one thing, and does it well. Great job.
+ points for the dynamic fonts, - points for the annoying fixed width... simple colors, simple layout -- simple is good, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
The comments section at the bottom of each is blowing out of the container - I suspect you used a fixed height background and my use of 120dpi is showing a a bit of faulty site-building. Remember the rule, don't fix the height of anything with content in it, ESPECIALLY if that content might decide to wrap.
Other than that -- not bad. Open it up semi-fluid, make the footer of each 'rant' dynamic so it can handle wrapping when/if it's needed, and on the surface it's a big thumbs up...
Peeking under the hood, the only thing really bad is the use of inlined style; you are using the style attribute on pretty much everything, and that's just sloppy coding... especially with all those elements recieving the SAME style back-to-back-to-back. You also have elements that don't even EXIST in STRICT -- like FONT and IFRAME; elements that really have no place on a page after 2001 to 2003ish (once we kicked nyetscape 4 to the curb).
You've got 2.35k of content on the page, and 20.3k of markup -- that's easily TWICE what should be neccessary -- while the jquery bloat and social plugins are partly to blame, the non-semantic markup and excessive use of the STYLE attribute are the real issues. Even the non-semantic and incomplete forms contribute to really, really bad markup that I imagine isn't going to be all that easy to maintain.
It is good that you are open to put comments. The design is good in general
Nice, clear and simple design. Easy to navigate through pages.
The site is loading very fast.
Good luck!

I really like the concept, something a bit different.
Do you monitor the comments to make sure things dont get out of hand and to stop people posting spam?
No its facebook comments so I assume facebook stops the spam.
Very good idea here. Really like the layout, makes things easy to find.
First item on the page, before the facebook like button is cut off at the bottom.
You can see Agree (6), but there is something below it cut off. Wrapped wrong?
I like the Ajax agree/disagree.
Comments only with facebook.. understandable but difficult for people without facebook.
Clicking on search: autofocus on searchterm.
I like the anonymous posting, hate registering...

Flrd, what browser are you using? Could you possibly send me a screenshot of what you are seeing. And I am not using Ajax right now. I'm only using iframes but will use Ajax once I learn it better.
I'm using google chrome.. I don't see it anymore now :/
