They either aren't being found because they aren't where the file path is pointing, or perhaps because of those queries on the end:

    http://breeziecastell.com/nb/js/jquery.js?ver=1.7.1

Firstly check if there's actually anything inside the /js/ folder here: http://breeziecastell.com/nb/js/

Hello thank you very much for the reply. The Path's are all correct. Here are some things I did differently. I copied and pasted the codes directly from someones website * I AM NOT PLANNING ON STEALING ANYTHING I'M JUST LEARNING* and named the files accordingly.

Normally what I do is download the source and upload the files directly.

The other thing is that it's not a subdomain, nothing is really linked to the root folder.

    Thank you for any help

Well, paste this into your browser--

    http://breeziecastell.com/nb/js/jquery.js

and tell me what happens. That's the path to your jquery.js file. If it were there, the code would appear on screen.

okay.... when I remove the queries everything shows up. I don't really understand that, but I will eventually. I'll see if everything starts to work correctly.

Cool, I had a feeling they were getting in the way, but I don't understand them enough to advise.

I've just loaded up the site in question. jQuery is being found. There is no problem with loading the scripts.

It's the images that don't seem to be found.

Hi Paul; thank you . I know those images are not loading, and that's just because I haven't put them in. The jquery files are working now; i fixed them before you looked at it probably.

What's happening now is the website I"m modeling this after is *I believe* querying the wordpress gallery from the custom.js or ppflip file. When I view source the images don't show; however when I inspect element from Chrome, the gallery is loaded and I can see the markup. I tried to mock the markup by using the same class and style but it's still not working; nor are the images loading in the "inspect element" ... I started to try and read the jquery "ppflip" that the author made so I could see where the images were loading from . . . I just want a gallery that operates similarly so I"m learning . As I said before , I won't copy or steal; this is purely for learning.

I'll keep investigating and If anyone has any additional ideas I'd love to hear. As I said; I am learning. Your input is greatly appreciated !

I suggest then that you go to the documentation page for the gallery and use that and its demos for your learning instead.

Yes, thank you, I've been. The theme appears to be querying the wordpress gallery because the "inspect element" on Google Chrome shows the markup and the index file does not. I don't want to dig more because I already know I can't make a theme with shortcodes... I don't know how.

Ultimately I want a responsive coverflow gallery which enables touchswipe on ipad/iphone. I guess I"ll try to combine two scripts but if this author made his own, it's probably because it doesn't work.

I don't know why I can't just do things the easy way, lol.

    thanks again

Perhaps what you have been trying is not the easy way.

There are wordpress plugins such as RoyalSlider that do a really good job with the touchswipe aspect of things, but you are expected to pay for it.
There's also a free one called DOP Slider but it doesn't seem to be anywhere near as responsive on the iPad.

The RoyalSlider is so good at what it does that I would happily pay for it if I had the need for it.
