How many visitors do you think a site like mine can get ?

I am working on a site which is all about Digital Audio and MP3s, etc. How many visitors do you think I can have a day ?

Just because your site is on a topic doesn't mean you will get traffic. You will get traffic based on your promotion efforts, not your topic.

This means no matter what topic you choose you can become successful if you promote it enough.

I think that a site based on that topic wouldn't be a good one though...for one thing even if it is legal, there aren't many people who want legal MP3s. There is always Napster/Macster/etc to download MP3s and digital audio from.

Also, you'd end up spending a lot for hosting because downloads eat up a lot of bandwidth.

Well. It's not really about downloads and stuff like that. It's more about MP3 Hardware, Software, MP3 Related Articles, Audio Glossary, Tips&Tricks, MP3 News, etc.

Hmmm...here's how I feel:

No one subject can assure you more traffic than any other subject...however I will say that certain subjects on average definetly get more traffic...I have a baseball site - it's got amazing content. But ya know what? Not too much traffic...

On the other hand, I've seen really low-quality unoriginal Webmaster Resource sites which receive many more visitors. I will say this: the subject of audio/MP3s online is a more profitable subject than most others in my opinion...so that's a step in the right direction.

You could have the best site in the world, but if you don't promote it the right way, it will never get the traffic you want. Check out some of SitePoint's promotion articles.

Well the possible vistors are here look at the hits sites that have a simular topic get, mega hits but its all to do about promotoin these companies spent a lot and get a lot in return. It all depends how good your site is and what it offers that is diffrent to the others and promotion that is carried out.Good luck!!!
