We will be on Summer Time then, so that would mean 22.00 (if I'm not confused again
).
A bit late, but I hope to be there.Guido - Community Team Leader

Summer time...can't...process...what?
Whatever. I'm marking this on my calendar for sure! It's during Spring vacation, so I should be able to make it - I don't know if I'm busy or not, though.
Sadly, I don't know lots of PHP. Will this focus more on 'how-to' or on 'what' to do?

That's actually 6am AEST, or 7am AEDST. I'll try to catch this one.

BST? What's that, GMT+1?
Edit: yes, BST = GMT+1 --> http://www.timeanddate.com/library/a...es/eu/bst.html
So, if it starts at 8pm BST, then it'll be 9pm GMT+2 (that is, where I am).
So the important question is, does it start at 8pm GMT, or 8pm BST ???? Who is right, Sarah or Simon?Guido - Community Team Leader

I'm afraid that I make 1pm PDT = 9pm BST, I think Simon has it wrong.
I checked with 3 different sites and got the same answer every time, wouldn't life be easier without Daylight Saving.

....it's 2 PM United States Central Time right now (which is 8:00 PM GMT)
Shouldn't there be a link to the chatroom?

This is why UTC is great. UTC never does daylight savings, unlike GMT. People can keep track of their own UTC offset.
So the fact that most of the east coast of Australia does daylight savings time, and uses AEDST, but not Queensland which stays on AEST all the time wouldn't matter.
UTC FTW!

GMT doesn't either. UTC = GMT (I thought...
). See: http://www.timeanddate.com/library/a...frica/gmt.html
BST is not GMT, it's GMT+1
For the rest I agree with you
