I think they can allow you to use the custom pages rather than the timeline.Give it a try for pages they can provide a custom layout to you.

Sure it does. Facebook would be banning their core user (students) if they changed this.

The old template was very nice.. The same custom design is not looking very appealing in the new template. I think it may effect drop the visits as user will not take interest in the present design structure. Facebook should enhance the page design so that at a glance anyone can see all the latest updates or post. This is not the case of professional pages but for personal page also.

Over 90% of interactions and views on Facebook happen via the newsfeed. Although I'm not sure how having a larger (810px wide) page and larger promotions (icons vs text tab links) would make a custom page perform worse?

...... Facebook business pages have changed AGAIN! The thumbnail view on the timeline is now BIGGER. This somewhat ruined and messed up many designs as now these icon cuts some of the text on the cover image.

We have 5 accounts on 1 IP, that's because my household have 5 facebook users :P Multiple accounts are also forbiden, but I've seen so many [name]-A, [name]-B out there that it leaves me the impression that they're not forcefully acting on their rules.

For custom tabs, yes. However you can no longer default non-fans to a tab, everyone goes to the wall.

Since the only significant change that facebook has made since the start of this thread last March is the marriage of its owner, this thread has run its course and needs to retire.
