    Menu question.... 3D

How hard would it be to make a menu like:
    http://www.flashbuttons.com/flash/Cubic_samp.swf

But using a shape such as:
    http://www.ax2.org/shared/images/triangle.gif

Keep in mind that I don't have the source for the Flash link above, and I have no idea how to make a 3D version of my triangle shape.

    Any insight/help would be appreciated...

    Thanks

It looks to me that they havent used action script at all, its simply an animation of a 3D cube rotating. I think this because u CAN do 3D objects in Flash using the sin & cos rules but the problem is, flash doesnt allow 3D objects to have filled faces, you can only have wire frame objects.
If you have a program like 3D studio max, swift of vecta 3D you can creat such 3D animations, your best option tho is using 3D studio max, powerful program and u can export animations to vectors using pluggins, if you dont have the plugins you can save the animation to individual firework docs and use the trace bitmap lark.

for information on making a 3D engine within flash check out the tutorials @ http://www.flashkit.com

    have you tried swift 3D.
It's much smaller and simpler than 3d studio max.

    However, it has less possibilities.
