    What would you call it ?

    If you were showing a page that had details and photos for property for sale, plus details about different types of mortgages and mortgage interest rates etc - what would you call that page???? Been going round in circles on this one and could do with a hand on it.

    Sounds like the main focus of the page is property for sale. I would call it by type of property displayed on the page, e.g. Income Property for Sale, Residential Property for Sale, Townhouses for Sale... etc. and I would add the city and state.

    Thanks Linda, I did think of calling the page property for sale, but it also includes information about mortgages?

    If it's proving difficult to identify the focus of the page content, it may mean that you are trying to do too much on one page and that you should break up the content over separate pages. Presumably—as Linda said—this is a page about a property for sale. I would picture mortgage/financing options as buttons at the bottom of the page leading to other pages that are specifically about those topics.

    A page having the information of different type of mortgages and their interest rates along with information about properties to sale as well, from my opinion, can be named as property manager.

    It could be called any number of things, but what it needs to be titled after the primary reason visitors will use to search for it. How many people do you suppose search for "property manager" and when they do search what are they looking for? A property manager is a person or business who manages a number of properties. That being the case, the majority of people who use that term will be looking for someone to manage properties they already own, not properties to buy.

    I would prefer it all to be on the one page really, but as a plan B, this one isn't too bad.

    I agree with Shyflower and ralph.m on this one.

    If it's going to stay as one page, the title should reflect the main purpose of the page. Most text books have glossaries in the back, but you don't call them glossaries or dictionaries... they're Chemistry books, or Algebra books, etc. because that's their focus.

    Also, if you are having so much trouble figuring this out, perhaps that is an indicator that it should be split into separate pages. Does that information together really fit? Also, is it going to become redundant information. For example, if I was looking at a number of those pages, would I be reading the same thing about those mortgages over and over again? If so, I would move all that duplicate information to it's own page and simply link people there in some way. So, instead of showing the information, just show the types that apply to the property and link to further details about that type.
