Using CSS. Will it effect Search Engine Visibility

Does anybody know if Search Engine Visibility when creating an entire site using CSS, will be effected?

If anything it would help because the search bot would have less HTML to dig through to find your content.

Yep, it helps especially if you use external CSS rather than inline (just don't play tricks with "display: none" for keyword stuffing). Generally, the less code the 'bot has to weed through to get to the text--which is, after all, what it's after--the better. :-)
