mod_rewrite and apache2
We recently upgraded our server to run RedHat 8 and Apache 2. Prior to the update I had a mod_rewrite directive passing traffic through a php script, it worked fine and looked something like this:
RewriteRule !(_admin|cgi-bin|\.mp3|resize\.php $ /home/web/_rewrite.php
i.e. use the rewrite script unless the file is in the _admin folder, the cgi-bin, is an mp3 file or is resize.php.
Now,since the upgrade this doesn't work - everything is getting passed through the script. Which is a problem since I have a seperate htaccess password on _admin.
