Moving NT4.0 IIS 4 server to RedHat 7.X running Apache
I'm no Windows guru - that's for sure. I have recently been given the task of migrating two NT4 boxes running IIS to one Linux box running Apache 1.3.x
Anyone have any tips or tricks for a smooth transition? FrontPage extensions are a must. There is one site on one server and about 25 sites on another. They are going on one dedicated RedHat 7.x box... most likely a quad PII 400 Xeon with 1 GB ram and 4 SCSI HDD's.
We have a few weeks before we need to move them. We are transitioning the entire network away from Microsoft as much as possible. They have upgraded most of the network to Novell, but they do not offer a viable web solution.
Any help would be appreciated...
