    Newbie question

    Hi

I am working on a gallery for a project I am working on which spreads over 2 domains. I am trying to use one for storing all html, php and database usage and the other for storing all images, mp3s e.t.c.

My question is - can I store information about the location of my images in a Mysql database when those images are on a totally different domain / IP address.

Basically can you use a database to control domains on serperate IP's

    Cheers

    Tye

I'd say it depends on how you use the data. If you are just storing a filename in MySql, then you can use PHP or ASP or whatever to concatenate the entire URI at the time of use.

This sound like what you got/need?

    Cheers beetle

After working out what "concatenate" means - I think that you have answered my question perfectly.

    Cheers mate
