    UNIX timeslice

Does anyone happen to know the standard UNIX timeslice? Or at least approximately how long does it default to?

    Thanks.

From the book "The Design and Implementation of the 4.4BSD OS" I read that the time quantum ( or time slice ) used by 4.4BSD is 0.1 second.
The book says that it was unchanged over the past 15 years.
The book was printed on 1996.

    That's what I can help.

Cool I was hoping for that ... Needed verification that it was 100ms ( = 0.1s)
