    Bulleted list problem in Netscape

    Can anyone figure out what's wrong with my bulleted list on the bottom of this page: http://www.csus.edu/afrotc. Here's the CSS I'm using:

    Code:
    .featureList {
    	font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    	font-size: 12px;
    	line-height: 20px;
    	list-style-image: url(images/dot.gif);
    	margin-bottom: 6px;
    	margin-top: 6px;
    	text-decoration: none;

    Netscape what? 4.x or 6/7?

    Everything looks fine in Mozilla 1.2b here, so it will probably look fine in N6/7.

    But 4.x is a nightmare when it comes to CSS.

    Yeah, it's in Netscape 4.79. It usually gives me problems... but I would still like to sort it out. Nice to hear it's ok in Mozilla.

    Unhappy poor ol' Netty - always takin' the rap

    just a guess, but could the problem be that you're styling both the DIV (featureMargin) and the LI (featureList)?

    when I remove the code for featureList, the bullets are properly aligned in Moz, N4.7, and IE5.5

    with respect, in my experience a lot of the so-called "problems with N4" drop out with careful coding - easy to miss in the Insufferable Encumbrance
