    SSI on apache

    I have created a static website and html pages include other htmls. on my pc i have iis5 so to include other files had rename files to use extension shtm, and it worked but when i uploaded them to my host which uses apache none of the includes worked.

    so i guess problem is with the server settings. so please help me out, i m quite short in time

    btw thats how i m including files:

    PHP Code:
    <!-- include virtual="global/leftcontents.shtm" -->

    Are the actual files with that code in them saved with .shtml extensions? An obvious question I know, but sometimes overlooked...
