    Hey there, you might remember me as the guy who asked to review a site logo a couple of weeks back. Well, I used all your suggestions and improved the logo. (However, if you have a suggestion as to how to make the eagle more dynamic, please let me know!)

    I have just finished the last in a third series of try-outs. The design has evolved nicely, but I'd like you to voice your opinion at this early stage, because now it is still easy to change things.

    Before you enter, please be aware of the following:
    * Links don't work. It's just a dummy page
    * Text not real.
    * Third table column will be added to the left. (With spotlights on the site's regular columns, links to the hosted sites, etc.)
    * "submit/archives" is just a reminder for me to put two icons there

    Let me know if you like the navigation and content area so far, and whether the overall "look and feel" appeals to you.

    It's time to throw it to the lions http://www.adventuregamer.com/temp/qg/index1.html

    ~~~ This site is Approved ~~~
    Very clean and fast loading. Liked the layout. Its a good thing you mentioned that your going to be adding stuff to the left side of the screen. It looks pretty plain.
    Very impressive...comes off as professional and quick-loading, as well as "cool"...fabulous job...the logo fits in well...the links are a little light-colored...but a mouseover effect (perhaps to change them dark grey or black) would fix that.
    Very nice and professinal looking site.
    In fact I'm really struggling to find something bad to say about it!
    1)One thing you could look at is your grammar, the first para is a bit wonky though wouldn't take much to clear up.
    2)In the newsletter box I'd put the privacy policy link under the input box.
    3)I wouldn't animate the bird, it is very nice and subtle as it is now.
    Good site
    Great overall web site. It looks great. There is only one suggestion that i have. Maybe you could put less articles on the home page. It seems as though i have to scroll down too much.
    The site really is designed very well. ONly thing you might want to do is jazz it up a little more by adding a bit more color.
    The site looks great. But like above the site could use a little jazzing up. Whatever though it still rocks.
    I really like this layout. It is simple yet has some good graphics. The only flaw I saw was the logo didn't quite fit in with the background.
    I had to look twice before I saw that the logo really was an eagle, so this needs some more work.
    On the site itself, I would use some color/graphics to seperate the different articles from each other. But it's a good site and well designed.
    Amazing design. Brilliant. Makes you look proffessional.
    Its clean - a major point with companies like yours.
    Nice color scheme, easy to read layout.
    Very very nice site !
    Why don't you have questgamer.com instead of adventuregamer .... kind of confusing.
    I'd put the search box to the front page since many people don't like going around looking for something.
    Maybe you could change the vlink color to something else then purple, seems sort of standard every where.
    Wow. That is a nice design. Loads fast. And something that was already mentioned - the logo didn't match with the background.
    Thank you so much for all your comments! I definately used some of them already!
    In reply to some of the suggestions you made:
    (wonky grammar) note that all the text is just "lorem ipsum" right now... it only serves as filler until the real content is ready
    (domain) I registered QuestGamer.com It's a new incarnation of the AdventureGamer.com site.
    (vlink color) The reason I kept the link colors standard is because most web surfers still instinctively click on blue text for hyperlinks. It increases the usability of the site somewhat.
    Again, thanks for your replies!
