    Please help me find a good Menu Script

    Hello everyone,

    I'm looking to find a good menu script in DHTML/JS that is customizable and has good features. A script that can have an image as the first element on top and when mouse is moved over it, it slides the menu down. Please guide me guys

    I would appreciate it alot

    thanks

    try HV Menu over at http://www.dynamicdrive.com

    You can use it for horizontal and vertical pop out menus, and have the option of using images or making the menu items text only. Lots of other options too.

    hth!

    Thanks for the reply MMS

    I downloaded that and i'm playing around with it. Wonder how to put images instead of the top text?

    the only option i come with is as follows :-

    The HV menu comes with arrow image inside the top bar with the text.. if i can remove the text and put a bigger image , will it suffice as using the top links as image ? and when people mouse over the image, it slides the menu below.

    am i on the right path? kindly correct me please if i am not.

    This is a snippet from one of the sites I've used HVMenu on:

    Menu1=new Array("rollover:firstimage.gif:mouseoverimage.gif","http://www.your-url.com/linktopage.html","",numberofsubelements,height,width);

    So mine looks like this:

    Menu1=new Array("rollover:images/home.gif:images/home2.gif","http://www.idotdesigns.com/clients/hra/index.html","",0,30,155);

    I don't remember having to specify anything else when using images with it. I think the menu_com.js is written to look for that rollover tag and if it sees it, it will lose the triangles.

    Make more sense?

    Sorry for the delay

    Here's the complete code and images I used on one site I designed (sad to say the company has been bought up by a bigger one so all my beautiful work was taken down!).
