    Dreamweaver (MX) Professionals! Question...

I've long been a hand-coder until now. I like the code snippet library in Dreamweaver MX (a lot of other features are a time saver as well). I just have one question.

Is there any way to setup preference per filetype? For example, when I open an HTML file, I want it to open in code view with the following 'windows' opened: code, insert, and properties. But when I open a PHP file, I want it to start in code view, with only the code 'window' open.

    Thanks in advance,

Launch MX, go to edit > preferences (at the bottom) > then highlight Filetypes/Editors.

You can set the required preferences there.

    Thanks for the tip.

It looks like I won't be able to make it open specific 'windows' for each fileype though?
