Your header graphics and logo are hard to read. I wouldn't use a hollow font at such a small size the thin outline and the white interior allows the words to be absorbed by the background.
You need to check your grammar. I can understand if english isn't your primary language but if your going to publish an english language site you should have correct grammar. There are people in the community here who have offered to provide this service in the past. Post a request in the Trading Post.
Also I don't think its a good idea to allow your own site to be listed as a nomination for best site or to even be listed in your database. This always gives a bad impression.
I like your site but there are a few things that I would recomend you fix.
First off the bright green on the mouseover links is very hard to read and distracting... I would play around with a few "less bright" colors.
I would also recomend making the graphic in the upper righthand corner a little more noticable. It is difficult to read it, however you are able to tell what it says.
Just a couple of suggestions, the colours are a bit to 'in your face' for my liking they distract you from the text and make it hard to read. I also have to agree on the green for mouse-overs not being a good idea.
If you still want to use yellow then stick with one shade and use blues with the yellow, yellow and blue go nice together and it generally gives a very clean and professional look to a site.
Hi Lars,
Your site is so bright I feel like I'll get a suntan by just sitting here - I think you need to tone it down a little.
Here are my suggestions:
1)Tone it down
2)The logo is un-readable
3)Your fonts are all messed up - I'm vieing at 768*1024 and they are a little too small - if you want them to be that small, use a non-serif font like verdana. The sizes are also mixed up - you have big and small and serif and non-serif all over the place - I can't see the method behind the madness!
4)I'm on NN 4.71 - your round corners are all over the place - some just look like the table width is out of control, but others just don't seem to be there.
5)You need to buffer the text in the tables so it does not run right to the edge.
6)I think your table alignment is messes up - email me if you want me to email you a screenshot
7)As already said, the English needs a bit of work too.
8)The email planet thing in the orange box at the bottom seemed to clash with the rest of the site.
Very nice homepage.
But it is anoying that you best have to view it in a 800*600 resolutiion.
And tone down that green. And also look through your spelling mistakes!
The green mouseovers are bad. The logs and menu logos need to be redone. And at high resolutions the tables come apart. You have a good concept but just need to do abit more usability testing...

When I was going through the links I saw your page listed as a recommended site. This doesn't bode well. I can't remember which exact page it was on though.
I concur with some of the previous comments...the logo needs to stand out much more and the colors need to be a bit easier on the eyes...the one word that came to my mind immedietly was "glaring"...
I'd also highly recommend making the mainpage shorter...it's highly unlikely visitors will scroll down that far anyway and it simply increases load time...
If you can tone the colors down and make the graphics a bit larger/crisper, then it should look much nicer.
I've tried it five times in half an hour and the first four times Netscape responded that the connection had timed out. The fifth time I got only a white page.
I'll try it tomorrow again.
I think the yellow bars like the ones used for "Great new resources for website developers:" really should have the text bolded, and line up to the left so the bullets are below the bars. Like the one for "Earn cash!" I also think the bullets might look better in black.
The "Tip of the Day" just seems to me to be thrown in for the sake of it. I would try putting it on top of or below the menu on the left. Or maybe, in the upper right in the border.
I was clicking on your links on the menu on the left and I really think you would benefit from a more unified look for your other pages. I think it would help people find what they are looking for much faster then having to figure out the layout for each new page as they go.
A couple of the links completly crashed my IE5 browser. One was the "Better Search Results" link.
I would also consider making the home page shorter.
One last thing, I would more that "Sign Up Free GOTO" animated thing to the bottom of the column if you want to keep it there.
I'm afraid I've got really bad news for you: Your page doesn't work in Netscape. At least not by me, I've just tried to reach your site in IE and it works. With Netscape I get the page, but I can't see anything while the source can be viewed. Netscape clearly doesn't like your site!
So what you say on your site about being Netscape friendly isn't right. But the site looks good, although it can only be viewed in IE.
