    ~~~ This site is Approved ~~~
    Kind of "Microsoft-ish" without the drop-down menus in the navigation bar area.
    I agree with Wayne, the site looks similar to Microsoft's (without the DHTML drop down menus).
    While the design is kind of good, it isn't as stunning and "hip" for a gaming site.
    Be creative! Create a design without any "inspiration" from others!
    No offense, but I think the design and the logo are a little "toy shop" like.
    The colors of the logo are a little like a 5 year olds birthday party.
    The design should be more rough and with some other colours.
    I would suggest you went to a popular gaming site and took a look at their colours and a little at their design, so that you can get an idea for a more gaming'ish design. But I am not saying that you copy their source codes or that you should get into trouble.
    The games aren't any that I like. I would rather have articles about: Half-Life, Unreal, Quake3 and other new action games. Your site is more like a classic gaming site.
    Hope you could use this information. I'm sure you can make something nice as you have the skills for it!
    I like your menus, even if they do look sort of "Microsoftish". One thing that stood out was the red mouseover on those menus. It looked kind of out of place on the blue background. I'd change it to the bright green or white, something that doesn't contrast so much.
    A couple of grammar errors: Your slogan should read "Games so hot they're on fire", and in your navigation, it should say "The Games We've Got" (I think that one could be read either way though, so you can keep it and it still makes sense
    Otherwise it looks good, rather zany and zingy, but a classic videogames site should look that way.
    Hope it helps!
    Since everything that can be done has been done before, I wouldn't worry too much about the menu design. It looks fine to me, except the placement and graphic of the slogan. Probably be nicer too if the theme of fire and the colours are integrated into the page too.
    The articles and isyndicate news are a distraction. You should just set your focus on oldie games instead of branching out, or at least do that in a sub-site. I also noticed the downloading game part of the site is not integrated with the new design, you might want to check on that.
    Lastly, as far as i know, none of these games are public domain yet, so wouldn't you have at least mention the copyrights or rename the games?
    Thank you everyone for your reply. I am working on these improvements, however I am going away on vacation, so it might take a while. I did not create any of the games, and I was granted permision to use each by the author.
    Thanks
    The colors could be alittle darker, the current ones do make it look a little 'kiddish'. More content is a must, although that will probaly come later. However, the navigation is very easy, which is a must for any website.
    You should add title and meta tags.
    Also on non frames version you say 'recommendupgrading' it needs a space...
    Also your NOFRAMES tag should be nested in the frameset tag.
    It looks indeed a little like a toy-shop's site
    It took not to long to load with my cable-modem. One thing you'll better change is making it more compact, less white spaces, and you better won't use those too bright colors.
