seo extension on web page

Hello Everyone,

Okay my inquisitive mind came across a web site today that is pretty large but all the pages on the site have a .seo extension instead of .html or php.

So my question is what type of site has .seo extensions is this some type of CMS site ?

It's probably a custom extension that has been mapped to a mime-type and script handler so that it will execute a server side language (PHP for example) and get served as text/html.
