One possible way to bring sales and traffic to a website would be to buy advertising from different ad networks. http://popunderxpress.com for example would put your website in pop-under ads. These ads would show up on other websites that get a lot of traffic. This could potentially increase the traffic and sales to your website. 1,000 popunder ads on this network would only cost you just $4.00!

Realistically I have found that there are many affiliate programs out there, but not all of them will be a success with the affiliates program website owner. It depends if you have a good quality looking site and a good quality affiliate program selling things that will interest a lot of people to want to promote.

I've found some affiliate programs don't get many good affiliates working with them and then others can get 100's or even thousands.

So realistically it's probably good to advertise your affiliate program just like you would advertise a website. Maybe try listing it in the affiliate programs directories as a lot of affiliates use them to look for new affiliate programs, you may not get any success or may get a lot of success, it depends if your program is what affiliates are looking for or some affiliates anyway.

    Here's a handful of directories:-

    Gd luck

You can take part in a big affiliate network like cj, shareasale. From there you will be found by affiliates.

I would look for affiliates that are a natural fit with your existing site. Don't go after the pet-food group if your site is about online gaming. The more natural the connection between your site and your affiliate, the better your conversion rate will be.

to find affiliates is the easiest part, since you can find dozens of them in cj.com. The hardest part is to find the one, which would work for you and your site.

Only a small number of publishers succeed at affiliate marketing. You have to throw yourself fully into it, find a niche with low competiton and spend a long time on it before you see good numbers.
