    on mouse over (color)

    formating of the text is working but since i put in <?php code in index.php \ instead of color: #FFFFFF; in main.css

    text formating is still fine but
    mous on \ of changing color stoped working...

    i think that php code somehow overides the css code.. can I fix this?

    I have to have <?php code line for radnom color selection..
    but i still want to have css changing color feature.

    here is main.css

    .main { font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; font-style: normal; line-height: normal; font-weight: normal; font-variant: normal; text-transform: lowercase; background-attachment: fixed; text-decoration: none; border-style: none; word-spacing: 20px}

    a:active {
    text-decoration: none; color: #758486;
    }

    a:link {
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    a:visited {
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    a:hover {
    text-decoration: none; color: #758486;
    }

    --------------------------------------------------------------

    here is the index.php

    <table border="0" class="main" width="470">

    <tr valign="bottom" align="center">
    <td height="18"><a href="proc/active_link_header.php?item=gallery"><font color="<?php echo "$bgcolor3" ?>">gallery</a></td>

    --------------------------------

    thx

    i want to know how to use both
    a:hoover and a:active in main.css
    and
    the <?php code line

    how do i get them to work together?
    like i said before, php overides the css color settings (formating is still intact tho).

    in another .php file witch works together with "random color generator" code...

    u see site works with includes \ except for .css files witch i couldnt include for some reason...

    (actually i think i made it to complicated... but i'll get it to work \ ey! i'm just starting to learn! hehe

    if you have any ideas on "php overides .css" or even how to include css styles trough php include function, i would love to hear

    thanx
