    Here's my latest offering http://www.NewLifeCC.net/index.shtml

It's a site for a Church outside of Nashville, TN. I'm leaning more towards an online community, but the site owner (church Pastor) really wants to draw people into his congregation.

On some of the pages, some of the graphics are supposed to be uniform. I took them from a powerpoint the customer provided me and haven't been able to resize them properly yet. Some of the links arene't really ready, but the should all work, even if they point to a blank page.

I'm curious what you think about layout, color scheme, font, load time, and any other thoughts you may have. Also, I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to make the site more of an online community meeting place.

    Thanks,
    Mike

This is certainly a site with great potential. I might suggest though that you look again at the color scheme you have used the lilac/mustard background dosent work for me. Also it would be better if you defined the size of your tables rather than making them 100%. This will mean that you have control of how it looks in all size moniters. I recommend using a width of 640 pixels. The download time is fine so there is room to include a few more graphics.
maybe part of the title of the site could be made into a graphic and centered a bit better.

    Hope this was helpful.

Good luck with the site !

I loved the lavender BG - it is easy on the eyes - but the mustard is just too brash. You could maybe lighten it up or go with gray like you used on the forum page. I did like the burgundy outline you used as it blended well with the lavender and coordinated with the logo colors. The logo is beautiful

The pages loaded fast, even on my 28k, so I agree additional graphics can be added for style. The navigation was easy but I'm not a big fan of hyperlinks without lines. And with 800x600 the site looked great.

My sister's church has their sermons online and has been quite successful - you might want to suggest that!

Photographs might be a nice touch to be added throughout - of the church, groups or individual photos of the members themselves to add a personal touch. Would make the members feel like it is 'their website'

How about using small graphics that match the logo (cross/dove) on the left border that would separate the scripture quote used, signup for daily quotes and the free email feature?...

Maybe even having the scripture quotes on the homepage change whenever you load the page...just some thoughts

I lightened up the mustard color to a lighter brown. What do you think? Also, the site is pretty much done, so if you find any spelling errors, I'd sure appreciate a heads up.

Please use the forum for me. I'd like to see if it's working.

    Thanks,

    Mike
