    Please suggest a JavaScript book.

I need a good javascript book that meets the following requirements:

    1. Does NOT take chapters to explain basic programming (what are variables loops etc)
    2. Is easy to read from the beginning to the end, but can be used as a reference at the same time.
    3. Will teach me the language in general and it will emphasize in things that javascript can do better than server side scripting. (I don’t want to be bothered with things that will be better if I do them with php)
    4. It will show me how to do things that will work with most browsers. If some things can only work on less than 80% of browsers I don’t want to know about them.

So I want a book that will not treat me as a beginner in programming, but will not attempt to make me a javascript guru either. Still it should be quite advanced ( I already know all the basic javascript stuff)

Sorry, I would have responded for sure but now, but I've never used a JS book.

Anything from O'Reilly is good though...
