    Bonsaiii

A firend of mine has set up a Bonsai Tree business, and i have offered to do a simple website for him!

Its not really a problem, I can do the site and upload it and all that thing, but he wants to be able to add pictures of new bonsai, and a bit of text about each one he adds. He has built a basic site with frontpage, and doesnt really know how to use it, he can do the basics.

I am gonna do a template and build the site for him and do all the SEO aspect, I have never used frontpage, so im wondering if it would be ok for him to update his site using Frontpage, or will that screw everything up??

I contemplated doing a CMS, but i dont know enough PHP yet, and thought it might be a bit overkill!!

    Any thoughts???

I've been working with a frontpage user for almost 2 years now and we just recentely got him into Dreamweaver MX.

Let me just say that during those two years I cleaned at least 5 times the ammount of lines I coded.

It's going to be a big time and resource hog having to deal with all of those Frontpage only tags like <o> all the time.

Just my two cents and it's not worth a penny more than that, but I bet you could get good suggestion about a simple CMS type solution in the scripting sections here. It sounds like it would make your life easier for a long time to come. Sounds like you could find something in perl that could work if you don't want to do php. Some small tweaks to a news publishing script or photo upload script might be enough.
